This course is required for those who intend to become a Florida Licensed Unarmed Security Officer. Students are required by Chapter 493, Florida Statute, to successfully complete a 42 HOUR classroom course before they can apply for a Class D Unarmed Security Officer License.
Course Requirements:
You will need a Class D license from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to work in the State of Florida as an Unarmed Security Officer. A security officer needs to be mature and responsible. It will also help if you are a polite and helpful person.
The 42-hour Unarmed Security Officer course will be held on Monday and Thursday from 8AM to 6:30 PM on opposite weeks from the 'G' course. The cost of this course is $135.00 per person. Honorably Discharged Veterans and former First Responders with proof of service get $10 off when they pay by invoice. Call or email us and we'll send you the invoice after we verify service.
