Florida 'D' and 'G' Class Instructor

Instructor Flanagan is the founder and President of PSG Security Academy. He brings over 32 years of combined Military, Private Security and Law Enforcement experience to PSG and he is a Florida Certified Private Investigator and own his own agency, Peacekeeper Investigations and Consulting. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service as a Shift Sergeant with the USAF Security Police. Some of his qualifications included: Investigator, Patrolman, Firearms Instructor and Armorer just to name a few. He is a veteran of Operations: Desert Storm, Southern Watch and Iraqi Freedom and was awarded 21 Awards and Decorations to include three (3) Air Force Commendation Medals & an Achievement Medal.

In 2015, he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice with an Undergraduate Certificate in Homeland Security from Saint Leo University.

Instructor Flanagan is a Lifetime Member of the NRA, a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) and has been a Firearms Instructor since 1996. He is an NRA certified Law Enforcement & Security Handgun/Shotgun Instructor among 5 other instructor ratings.

He first became a Florida licensed D and G Officer in 1997 when he was hired as the Supervisor for the entire Hillsborough County for a local security company. He is licensed by the State of Florida as a 'K' and 'DI' Instructor and has taught over 6000 students in 5-years.

Investigator Flanagan is also a State of Florida certified Private Investigator and the Sr. Investigator & CEO of Peacekeeper Investigations and Consulting, LLC.
